From Soldier to Chef....
Currently and avid outdoorsman, commercial fisherman and chef in the Baton Rouge area. Chef J.P has always enjoyed sharing his recipes and food. He served 16 years in the United States Army and medically retired due to combat related injuries. Chef graduated from the Louisiana Culinary Institute in 2018, was nominated and selected for Top 25 Best Chefs of Louisiana but the American Culinary Federation (New Orleans), and was nominated for the Small Town Chefs Award with Country Roads Magazine. Chef J.P. is currently serving as the wild catfish board member for the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board. He is also the Consultant Chef For Louisiana Direct Seafood Shop. He has recently been selected as a Regional Director for Cervicide Hunt Club. Chef JP also works as a Field Staff for Kill'n Stix Carbon Arrows and partners with The Seasoned Butcher.
